When washing the car on Saturday I noticed what I thought was a scratch on my door.
It's the front left door, right down in the corner by the front wheel.
Basically, if you run your finger from the right of the door, to the left towards the bottom corner, when you almost reach the corner it feels like the paint steps down where the scratch is.
It's like when you buy a new mobile phone and it has that protective film on it. Imagine you lift this film and cut the corner off, then place it back again - this is what it's like.
I didn't think lacquer would come off like this?
I did notice some little scratches down in that area of the paint work by the wheel arch so I did wonder if it was connected to this - but a scratch shouldn’t lead to the top layer of paint coming off should it?
Thanks for any comments
