Glad it seems to have worked out ok. Sounds silly that something so simple could effect the lights but if the bulb isn't perfectly horizontal in its holder then the light can be sprayed all over the show.
i dont really trust dealers...always after ur cash and little or no customer service my dad once got warranty work done on his renault espace.......the tubes didnt torque the wheel nuts at all so his wheel came off on a duel carrageway luckily he'd noticed some wheel wobble and was pulling into the hard shoulder but wtf putting a wheel on is kinda essential!!
well when i fitted my after market bulbs i fitted them the same way round as the original bulbs were (the pointy bit was facing down) i have just turned the bulbs around and hopefully should get some better results tonight. Quite exited lol
^^ haha i was the same when i turned mine round! Although i've thought of something i need to check tomorrow to do with one of the bulbs, as i'm getting a weird shape being projected from the right bulb lol.
I went through three different sets of updated bulbs before I found out something was wrong. Even got some 80 watt monsters thinking they would be the bomb but they were still rubbish. So I went digging on Internet and found a post about the bulb fitment and now I have proper good lights!
yeah i bought another pair before the OSRAMS, gave the pair before to my brother for his car and he said they were really good. I was so shocked, then put the OSRAMS in and still poor so thats when i figured something was wrong.
