Looking at chipex now and have had a look through the site on here but i just want some reasurance that this is my colour.

On my sticker it says LS5G, some people have said thats either swing blue, extreme blue or imperial blue. Then i saw another post that said lose the L so its just S5G which is Azul Swing. On the chipex site it says Azul Swing is age 01/07 which is correct as mine is 54. Would this be the correct paint? :confused: :cry:

Taken from the chipex site:

Chipex - Product Size Selection
You Have Chosen: SEAT - LEON - AZUL SWING(01/07)

Paint Colour Code: S5G

For if you want to try: http://www.chipex.co.uk/choose_product.html

Thanks guys :D

Its S5G mate, the same colour as my own.
The chipex is a perfect match as well, just make sure when you open the box that the blending solution isn't leaking and the lid closes tight. Mine evapourated completely!!

S5G is Swing Blue / Extreme Blue (two names for the same colour apparently). Imperial Blue is S5N.

The paint code is made up as follows:

LXxZ

Where L = Lackierung, which is German for finish as in paint finish.

X used to be a location code, showing the factory or group where the colour was applied and S = Seat/Spain.

However since they ran out of country-specific codes you now find many colours applied across the range, for instance we have P3G Flash Red on Seats

x is a number indicating the colour band according to the RAL system
1=beige/yellow
2=orange
3=red
4=violet
5=blue
6=green
7=grey
8=brown
9=white/black

and the final letter is just an index code.
