Apparently i haven`t visited since December 2007, so i suppose i`m a newbie again

Back in the day had a Leon Cupra. After a few years of company cars i`ve still got the bug and am looking at coming back into the fold.

Checking out K1`s at the moment. Any particular views on them from the forum. Good, bad or just different.

Trying to find out their BHP as some sites list it as 260 and some less. Anyone know what they push out as standard?

Hi and welcome mate,
People will start to slag the K1 off "just a Cupra with a bodykit" (which it is). But I really like the look of the kit.
All K1's / Cupra's are 236 bhp (rounded up to 240) standard. But will remap to between 270 / 300 bhp.

Would be looking at remapping it hence the question.

well after looking at Cupras for ages i finally took the plunge and have one sitting on my drive.

Leon 08 plate black with a pearlescent red tint which gives it a deep purple look in certain lights. Very strange but i like it. Will post up a piccie once it stops raining.

Did look at K1`s but just couldn`t justify the extra price.

During looking did give an offer to a blue one in Seat Brighton, they didn`t take my offer and now it`s being sold at less that i said i`d pay. Walked away due to the salesman's attitude on the phone. Beware if anyone is looking at it as it has a large scratch on the bonnet that wont polish out and a scratched o/s front alloy.
