I've recently taken delivery of an Exeo ST SE Lux in black magic.

Previously driving a 320D tourer, the offer of a company car came up at work - after much umming and aahhing - the choice became either a Passat Highline or Exeo ST SE Lux with winter pack & Ipod connection.

Spec wise - the passat couldn't come close - it seems so well put together (having previously driven a beemer). The only negative is that it could do with lowering an inch or so (those 18" wheels look go though)

One query - Can't get the Iphone to work in the ipod dock - anybody else come across this?

Yet another new owner who's been converted ;)

You can buy a lowering spring set from SEAT, that is fitted as standard to the 'Sport' model, they're about £75 per pair (front/rear), so £150 for the set (plus fitting).

This is the Seat Accessories list for the Exeo: http://seatepac.gedas.co.uk/model.aspx?Group=EXEO&model=EXEO 2009 >

I've had my Sport parked next to an SE / SE Lux, and there's a significant difference in the ride height, and the 18's look so much better without the 'tractor' stance

Haven't got the Ipod dock in mine, as I've got a HTC ;)

umm...tractor stance - know what you mean !

Mate at work has just bought an A3 "Black" edition........same kit and switchgear inside as the exeo. Stick four rings on the front grill and you'd never know.

Lots of nice touches - liking the xenons and 'get you home ' lights
