Hey,

I want to lift both the entire front and the rear of my car and put it on stands, but at different times, so front first, do work, lower, do back. I have read around and can't seem to find anything that is helpful.

I don't really feel comfortable lifting one side of the car up, putting it on a stand, and then doing the other side,

Anyone help?

Cheers Oli

The jacking points are only on each side I believe, unless you get someone else to jack the other side at the same time then put them on stands!

As above, no other way that I know to do this unless you have access to high level DIYer of intro level professional lifting equipment. I own 2-off trolley jacks, actually I own 2 X 2-off trolley jacks, one high lifting pair and one lower lifting pair - kind of OTT to most people, and a couple of small bottle jacks and a medium lift trolley jack and a scissors jack OOTT for most people but so what. the pair of high lifting trolley jacks tend to get used with "JACKPOINT JACK STANDS" - a set of 4-off which allow me to lift and support the car at the 4-off official jacking points. There are 4-off points that have hard plastic bungs that you can remove and fit Audi TT jacking point protectors, they probably cost about £30 each so you would need 4-off, they allow you a good/safe and obvious place to place the saddle of trolley jacks under to let you lift the car up high enough to place suitably shaped stands under the official strong points. Just jack up each side maybe 10 pumps of the trolley then the other etc etc.
