Ah man,! You know the sill goes in the groove on the Jack? Don't mean to rub it in, but I've done it to all my Leona without issue. Sorry to hear that fella. I've only ever used the jack in the boot, not my other normal Jack with a big round platform.
Yeah, must have been a **** piece of wood then, because it's bent.
Is there an easy way to bend it out?
*EDIT*
I just went to see if the VW deathtrap jack would still fit and it did. So I just jacked it up on that and it's sort of bent the jacking point back into shape a bit, so the widowmaker will still fit if I need it to.
It doesn't look like the actual sill is bent, the jacking point.
I use a roll of PVC electrical tape with a slot cut halfway down it, sits perfect in the cup of my trolley jack and is soft enough not to damage anything, yet firm enough to keep things safe.
just jack up on the bed or on the arms that way you wont be damaging the sills and taking any of the protective coating of them that will later on lead to rot. I jack all cars up like that and have never had a problem in years of doing so
And chock the wheels especially if raising the back end, it'll help keep the axle stands aligned with all their feet on the floor. I've had cars start rolling away on a trolley jack
