Just picked up my new Seat Leon Fr mark 2 on Saturday and already planning a few mods for it

First a few pics in its original state





Previous owner used to call it binky so I've renamed him Jah Jah Binks

No thunder storms today as forecast so thought I'd make a few "improvements"

First off to halfords for caliper paint, white car so opted for red and heard good things bout halfords paint.
Was goin to jack whole front end to get 2 wheels of at a time but bottled it after readin few horror stories on here bout crushing jackin point so did one wheel at a time, on 1 1/2 hours per wheel with prepping time included n some very fast paint drying with the hot weather.











2 front wheels done n hopefully the back 2 tomorrow as long as the weather man gets the forecast for thunder storms wrong again!

Nice, red calipers suits well on white car.
I was thinking to go red on red, but wanted more "stealth" look and went to paint my calipers black.

What next?
Do we see those RS4 rims in white?

Next on the list is probably the K1 front n rear bumper to match the spoiler n skirts

Think I might recognise that car. Binky looking good mate. Might ask you to paint the calipers on my new car when I get it. Red on red.

Day 2 of painting done and all four calipers painted, could've easy done in 1 day but its kept me entertained and with practically a full pot of paint left (think I'll pass it on to a new Fr)









Anyone interested in my paintin skills, I only charge £30 per caliper!

What engine does it have?
Those rear brakes look so tiny(?), my TFSI FR does have bigger for sure.

Don't think I'll remap it unless in a few years time I think it needs more power but for now not messing with the engine.

It's a 170 fr tdi mate so think urs would have the bigger rear brakes
