I'm confident it's not a map issue as it happened on my old car when it had been flashed back to stock by the dealer. Absalutly furious about it though.

i can confirm its not the map. It's ****ing annoying as it leaves you in a position where you cant always trust it to change up itself, which begs the question why the hell have i spent so much on a semi auto dsg car. Absolutely devastated/ annoyed at this. Thinking of leaving the vag group altogether, i've had enough.
I do wonder if the 1.4TSI can handle 180bhp+. I think someone should do a poll.

It's defo not the map. If it was my management light would have come on ages ago. Just change your plugs and see what happens. Sat at Awesome gti atm getting stage 2 sorted.
Try and get the old plugs and take a picture of them to see if they look bad.

when my light came on ages ago it was just my plugs causing the probs...be interesting to see some pics of them causing the probs
we had a look at the plugs today, but no pics sorry, they seemed ok but just had few black marks around the top. the guys at Awesome said that they look fine.
Yeah according to the guys at Awesome the plugs looked just fine so I can't be too sure tbh. I really booted the car in manual today after all the work had been (IT IS FRIKKEN AWESOME!!!!) and no magement light so I think the new plugs are fine. Must be the plugs but who knows tbh. Mardon will get vids up later.
They never had rollers unfortunately. It is very rapid though so I am pleased and the sound is amazing. Sounds like a big engined car now.

Will get a few pics taken today guys. All I can say is WOW!!!!! The pipes look amazing and the sound is really good. Makes it sound like a much bigger engined car.
