Well car is due to go in on 17th and now I'm wondering if I should go to a VAG Specalist instead.
The sales department here are USELESS. I went in after a quote for a Cupra R on a business lease back in July. The guy I spoke to said that it was to early to give me a quote as the price would more than likely change, and that he would get the business manager Julian to ring me within the next month with a quote. I explained that I was interested in ball park figures at this stage to see if it was a viable option so he said he would call the next day with a quote. Two days later I called back to ask about the quote, to be told the business manager was out and would call me back that day. Called them again the next day to be told that Julian was out and for ME call HIM back tomorrow!?!? I said no he can call me back and left my details again. I still haven't recieved that call!
I went in to Nidd Vale in Harrogate a couple of days later and they were Fantastic. I had the quote within minutes, and the car was ordered the next day. Never mind JCT, if you had bothered to call me back I would have ordered from you as you are round the corner from my office!
My advice would be, don't waste your time going into JCT Menston they don't want to waste their time selling cars, drive the extra 20 minutes to harrogate and go to Nidd Vale.
I work at Nidd Vale, I remember you calling in to collect your speed blue Cupra, was mint mate.
How you getting on with it?
i only use jct IF i have to , i get all my parts from david @ sere's unless there too big then i go to jct , i fact i was in there today to pick a window door seal for the cupra stud at the parts desk for 10 mins , then the woman behind the desk says you wanting parts i will ring them , " no im stud here for the fun of it "

I tried using this dealership for a service and they never even called me back to book the car in, I tried twice!

I called them today for a price on replacing my sensor on the DPF, still awaiting a call back so I will be going elsewhere now. What's Nidd Vale like?
i personally drove down to the dm keith seat/skoda in york after ringing around for quotes for my 4 year service (big one) and doing some research on all the dealerships around the leeds area
they worked out much cheaper - they even price match vag specialists, gave me a decent courtesy car (heated seats in winter
) and a seat stamp ofcourse. well worth the 40 minute drive. i wouldnt dare go to jct600 after previous experiences with my car + the fact that when I rung them up for quotes I got quoted 2 different sets of prices by - check this - the SAME PERSON.
