Nothing mate! weather has been for too crap. Priced up a new timing belt and water pump with fitting today at a VAG specialist in Cheshire.........£372.00. This is the first thing i need to get done but i wont be paying that haha! Havn't even washed her in a few weeks! What's on the list depending on the cash you get?

That sounds like a good plan, i've been debating an LCR splitter but i't not sure whether i can be arsed with the fitting and what not. The timing belt/water pump and new brakes are going to swallow up a fair amount of cash so i can't really be thinking of any styling to be honest. Those two things need doing definitely before anything else.

How you finding the car in general to live with and be in every day?

i think end of feb i'll be going to 312mm brakes, im debating the splitter or spraying the lip at the bottom of the grill black (if that makes sense)

loving the car to be honest i just wanna get started on things

Yeah that makes sense, could always try that first probably easier and more cost effective.

I do like the sound of the 312mm upgrade i just find it a little confusing. I think i'd only want to do it if i was 100% certain that i was going down the remap route but that will require a new clutch which bumps the cost up massively. Struggling to weigh everything up and work out the best way forward. VERY difficult to justify to the mrs too!

I think i'm wanting to love mine more than i am actually loving it if that makes any sense haha

So i picked up my new FR on Monday and i love it! 2010 reg with 47,000 on the clock, so happy with it. Wind deflectors have been fitted and the Cupra tailgate spoiler arrived today ready for spraying and fitting.

HID's are going in on saturday with fog light bulbs to match the colour

Any more suggestions?
