Hi All.
After agreeing with my wife, that a midlife crisis has caused me to go all sporty. I'm planning on placing an order for a VZ3 on Sunday. I'm intending to test drive, both a VZ2 and an Seat Ateca Cupra (purely to feel the difference), but my heart is likely to rule my head.

I know there is a long waiting list, but with luck, I'll be able to trawl this site for tips before it arrives.

Life and especially kids change driving priorities ?. Formerly an owner of Alfa 156, Skoda 2.0 L&K estate and currently a Karoq Sportline 1.5

Well your midlife crisis has brought you to the right place lol welcome

Loads of info in the CUPRA section, I think the main difference between the Formentor and Ateca will be the interior I imagine as I think the facelift Ateca still doesn't have the new infotainment system (probably wise not to quite me on that haha)

Enjoy your test drive and it would be great to get your feedback of both...

What's the best advice/options on pre-paying for servicing? My current Skoda had a deal on two services for £150?
Given the unknown issues a VZ3 may face over a 2-4 year ownership, any suggestions?

Cupra Care appears to not cover the Formentor ?

Speak to the dealers, they generally have their own in house servicing packages. It is a bit odd that they don't offer Cupra Care on both the Leon and Formentor though which is only, like y'know most of their range :confused:.

I do have a soft spot for the Ateca, if I was in the market for an SUV that would be at the top of my list. Hope you have fun testing them out..

After a 10 month wait, my VZ3 is at the dealership. Prep day tomorrow for a Tuesday collection ??
