I love both the mk1 and 2 but the only way i could feel like i'd truly upgraded was to leave the mk 1 behind..

Well i wouldn't say no to that! Unfortunately the mk2 was a bank breaker.. One day! lol
Nothing against them don't get me wrong but I'm not too keen on the curvaceous shape of them, I don't think that the early MK2 doesn't look aggressive enough for me
I prefer the look of the front of the MK5 Golf GTi although I'd likely wander off back to the Jap side again when the Leon dies lol

I'm 100% sure i would have walked away with a grey mk5 gti if it hadn't sold 2 hours before i arrived to have a look at it! I was gutted..
The MK5 just has something extra about the look of the front end that the Leon doesn't have but the MK1 Leon's more aggressive than the MK4 Golf hence buying one lol
Should have held on and bought another Golf
I'm sure you'll be happy with the Leon though they're certainly not bad but I wouldn't buy another due to the build quality niggles I've had on mine

The MK1 Leon's nicer to look at though than the Golf MK4 but as I said I've never been in the VAG scene before, I used to have Japanese all the way, I came from this to the LC (biggest regret of my car history getting rid of that )
You'll certainly be uncommon with the graphics though LOL

Defo looks an original paint job, not being able to see the rest of the car or spec of it i couldn't say i really like it yet.
But i really like it.

Love my mk2 fr, I had a mk5 golf before i turned to the leon and prefer what I have now. Any plans for it yet?
