i have a mk5 bocanegra it is stage 2 with just under 240bhp in a very small car goes like a rocket can suprise quite alot of people and have still seen 50mpg ave with that power and getting a bit fed up with the reliability issues dont get me wrong love the car to bits but dont want to be worrying the whole time!

Whats the reliability like with these cars after they have been tuned (stage 2/2+)?
is there any major issues with these cars?
are they cheapish to insure running costs mpg etc.

i would look through all the threads but there seems to be nothing much on the first page can some people shed some light on this just looking out at new cars.

I actually find my Leon cupra more economical then my old mk5 ibiza cupra. Just got 280 miles from 45 litres, only used to get 250 from a full tank in the ibiza. I believe stage 2 in the Leon requires an uprated clutch, although I could be wrong. Insurance will probably be more expensive. Poverty is probably the best to answer anymore question :) sure he will be along soon.

i remember you on the mk5's mate lol what is the leon like compared to ibiza speed wise baring in mind mine has got revo stage 2 forge twintercooler milltek tbe itg maxogen v-power and is quite alot quicker than a standard ibiza?

My ibiza cupra was fast, don't get me wrong. But the Leon is in a different league :) I think it'll be the first car I get a speeding ticket it in. If you come to trade yours in, take all that off. You'll make a fair chunk of your money back by selling it. I love the Leon, feels a lot more settled on the road, and handles better in corners :)
