Just curbed an alloy

nope how bad is the wheel? has it lightly marked it. only probs i have with refurbing one wheel is its more then likely going to be slightly different shade. my car came with silver wheels so they swapped the grey ones onto mine but they are going to have to spray my spare so looking forward to how it will look. may have to reject it as dent fix nobs are doing it.

FFS...that's bad! When you manage to get it sorted...do yourself a favour and book a wee appointment into specsavers (am only joking). Not sure how you are going to sort that...if you get it refurbed then you would probably have to get the other wheel on the same side done as well to make sure they match.

Before I bought my car, the alloys were stonechipped pretty bad. I got the dealer to get them ALL resprayed before I would say yes to a deal. They came up grand.

So do I mate. Its got to go back to the dealers to have the mirrors painted as they are the wrong colour :-( - There is a guy there that I know that does alloy repair and might be able to get it done in his lunch hour for cash :)

Thanks for the info buddy. I am in Hampshire but I have someone that should be able to do it for cash..

Got home and throw my gym bag at the wall. Scared the dog so much that he jumped onto my wife's lap on the sofa and started shaking

Thats a nasty scuff. I try and stay as far away as possible from the curbs without it looking weird lol. Would not show up nice on the black alloys.

hope you can get it sorted ok.

Farnborough\Fleet way,

Moved over a little to let a biker past, always worried they are going to clip my car. Caught a drain cover and got dragged into the curb.. So annoyed
 
fooking hell i think i'd pass out if that was mine. on a good note tho guys...

i was washing car yesterday and was cleaning my wheels with a brush and had a metal tip at the end, "i know **** brush blah blah blah" and as i went to go through the spoke i caught the outside of the wheel. and yup nice long white scratch. skipped a ****ing heartbeat but 2 mins later and a dab of t-cut it was gone. i was like o **** thats ****ing lucky not even a spec now. but tbh that aint gonna polish out lol
