Farnborough\Fleet way,

Moved over a little to let a biker past, always worried they are going to clip my car. Caught a drain cover and got dragged into the curb.. So annoyed

Thats cool my Dad lives near that way so may spot you around when i pop down there every once in a while.

Thats such bad luck to of caught that :( especially as you were moving over for the sake of them (or your car lol)

I used a firm called The Wheel Specialist in Burton upon Trent, they were great. Total refurbishment, strip surface, repair and then repaint, colour match fantastic, you would not know it had happenned. I do know this is a franchise, so look to see if there is one near you.

Women!

She didn't know she had done it, I spotted it when I got home one night. Didn't have a go, what's the point won't fix the wheel.

A post of mixed emotions for me, I'm also in F'boro so nice to see someone else nearby!

But am also a biker so... Thanks for moving over on behalf of the community? :)

And of some note to the OP: Who/Where is the wheel repair going to be, if you wouldn't mine sharing? I've got a few dinks on (2 of) mine I've been considering sorting for a while now. Ta muchly.

Oh my days man... that is bad... i thought i scrapped mine bad... but its like only a slight mark... yours wow! what you do keep driving into the curb?! :D hope you get it sorted though pal :)

At least its not too deep. I always take my time parking and make sure I angle a mirror down if its a tricky park! :)

On a side note, let my ex drive my old 106 gti. She was turning the car round on the drive and when reversing she brought the nose round and drove right over the rockery! I was just sitting there like

Did you get your alloy sorted? If so who did you use in the end and what cost was it?

I damaged one of my Cupra wheels today at a car park in Solihull. The curbs are about a foot high and you can see marks all along them where people have hit them. Unfortunately that didn't stop me doing the same  One of the fronts now has scratches on two of the spokes...

Just out of interest does anyone have a price for a brand new Cupra wheel? I'm just interested to know if I had done as much damage as the OP (sorry to see that btw) how much a new one would cost. I had to replace a similarly sized Fiat wheel earlier this year and it was £230.

Cheers
