I'm thinking of upgrading to the K03s turbo, but apart from buying the turbo what other parts am i gonna need to purchase, what sort of pricing and what difference am i gonna find in driving?????
 
bruce u bad boy how r u,wanted to speak to u the other day but didnt want to get u in trouble,anyway im also thinking of this mod, my cars runnin 221 bhp and i hear urs is similar now,i dont think u gain a lot more from a ko3s with that much power,c u soon mate,,
 
all i've done is have a miltek exhaust and a re map but that figure is tested,i think thats quite high for those two mods,the guy who done it was supprised,dont get a miltek unless your willing to muck around to get it to fit i've been to 4 places now and i still get knocking,its cost me 100 quid to get it this rite,so much for free fitting
 
alright mulletman, yeah i'm not doing too badly really, na i haven't got that much power yet, hopefully soon though, planning to get my remap and exhaust soon though....haven't decided who to get the remap done by though, your guy is quite good isn't he??? how much again??? Feel free to Come into the shop anytime you want mate
 
you need remap, 4 bar fpr all the gaskets, and intercooler or charge cooler and you should really get the 3" downpipe and cat, but it isnt "needed" as such
oh, and you need to get it fitted, not cheap
 
well i should be getting my 3"dp and sprots cat in a day or 2, then a 3" cat back system and a revo and if i can aford it a AM motorsport FMIC that should give me a nice bit of BHP and Lbs altogether.
 
I bought the Miltek system and CP/Cat from James on here been as he was getting rid.
Not sure of the size though? It has been moddifed by AM. is it 2.75" to 3"
Mark, how much were you looking at for fitting of the turbo and all the acessories you mentioned above? Once ive bought the K03s and FMIC (ouch) it's the things like brake upgrade suspension and wheels that are going to hit the pocket hard!

u gain an extra 20bhp and 20-30lbs torque which doesnt sound alot of a gain,

but what u do get is 220bhp at 6krpm!!!!! U barely have this at 3.5-4krpm on a k03!! Its the drievability and power band, dont get hung up on peak power, having 220bhp for 1000rpm is fine, but 240bhp for 3000rpm and over 200 through the rest of the rev range is nicer!!!! :D ;)
 
no you need it to go towards 220+bhp, and with the bigger turbo, the actual amount of air is more.
they are only like 40squidlers delivered though

its 2.75" at the Flexi joint but between this and the cat its 3" (assuming u on about modified one) standard is max 2.5" smallest 2"

in theory its 229bhp+ as its at this point injectors hit max at 3bar, but as mark said, more likely 220
