That pug is awesome but of kit haha 190bhp on bodies full slicks and nothing in it lol. Hard cut limiter was so loud especially on the ferry lol

Was few otheres that left earlier than us lot. Was 375 bhp 205 with a 206gti 180 supercharged engine that was traliered over lol

Right back from holiday and the car is looking unloved.

As I left on holiday I received my manual steering rack only to find I had been sent a LHD steering rack so I'm trying to sort this out with the seller currently

Today the cupra started its diet gunna try and get it under 1000KG with the OE wheels. Decide the window will be plastic just gotta find a good set.

I took the passenger seat out to gain access to the back to strip some more sound Deading out

Bag full of the sticky stuff

Then realised I hadn't got any brake cleaner to get the rest off and clean

Started taking the dash out too see what's what behind lol soon got bored and not being on eBay for 2 weeks took its toll.

I've ordered a AGU large port head ( for the engine I'm building)
Some cheap coillies from DPM so I can send my B16s off for a rebuild
VT rear wishbone bushes
Black powerflex front bushes
And bonnet raisers lol

Haha yeah they are all largeport. I didnt even realise it was an agu when i got it, i was just looking for a spare head, got it back to my garage and spotted the code and jumped for joy haha

From memory the kerbweight of your car is 1156kg. 156kg lost doesn't sound like much but you'd be surprised. Glass fibre wings and bonnet. Lay them up yourself. I once knew I guy that done autotesting in mini, proper minis, who cut the bottom of the boot out and replaced it with a moulded plastic skin. The doors were plastic as well. I couldn't tell you what the weight saving was it was nearly twenty years ago.

I had mine on a weigh bridge at a scrap yard was empty and I wasn't in it and weighed 1200 and that goes to nearest 10 kilos.

I was guessing they were are 1300KG stock but unsure will have to find out. Autodata should have a listing id a thought.
Anyone know where I can get fibreglass panels from? Boot etc? I've looked but no joy

That's handy to know as a guide line. What did you have in it? Fuel seats etc?
