Hey, thanks for answer! So, there is nothing to do (I mean warranty replacement)? It's a known issue, several threads on the topic.
Not that I’ve read, try warming your hand up before trying to unlock the car. Have a search in the forum for some of the threads about the topic.Hey, thanks for answer! So, there is nothing to do (I mean warranty replacement)?
Get Kessy switched off and use the remote that has been doing the job great for many years. Also your fob battery will last a lot longer too.Hey, thanks for answer! So, there is nothing to do (I mean warranty replacement)?
I use opening trunk by movement under it sometimes. It's very convenient, so I'm not ready to switch off kessy completely :/Get Kessy switched off and use the remote that has been doing the job great for many years. Also your fob battery will last a lot longer too.
Less chance of someone stealing your car via a relay tooGet Kessy switched off and use the remote that has been doing the job great for many years. Also your fob battery will last a lot longer too.
Has your car had the service campaign for the KESSY carried out?Hey guys, got some strange issue.
After temperature went below 0 Celsius opening with KESSY on my Formentor 2021 sometimes doesn't work.
Locking usually works on both handles, but opening - not. After staying in warm parking it started working again.
May be someone else experience this issue?
Actually the Cupra key have a nice feature that turns off kessy if there's no movement for some time. Won't help if you carry the key in your pocket and move but if you place it on the shelf in your home it will stop emmiting kessy signal and there would be impossible to steal via relay.Less chance of someone stealing your car via a relay too![]()
It's a more advanced system than the key just going to sleep. The keys transmit UHF in addition to the usual KESSY signal. We made a post on here explaining the new system with screenshots from the VWAG self study programme however I'm struggling to find it nowActually the Cupra key have a nice feature that turns off kessy if there's no movement for some time. You can also turn off KESSY when you lock the car.Actually the Cupra key have a nice feature that turns off kessy if there's no movement for some time
Yes, I always follow that process when locking my VW with keyless entry / keyless start. My car is too old to have the key fob with motion detection.
