So ever since I've had my car serviced (last month) and the service message has been removed I've had another message saying Key Bat come up and I can't find any info regarding this. I've changed the battery in the key and it's still showing any ideas would be great.
It is rather a long shot but you could try resyncing the key fob with the car. The procedure is described in the handbook and IIRC it involves locking/unlocking the car with the key and pressing the button on the fob in some specific sequence or other.
My guess is just that resyncing just might force the car into believing that the battery has indeed been changed. As I said it is rather a long shot .....
I tried this and no luck I don't think it would work simply because the key fob works. The resync process just says to press the lock button then use the key to lock the door and visa versa but because the key works it's locked already.
