I'll carry on putting mine in the faraday box though - can't be too careful, especially as I recently had an expensive vehicle (not the Cupra) stolen off my front drive by those lovely local gypsies.

I knew about it but still put my key in a metal box that I keep upstairs in the room furthest from the car. I have extra security, (Disklok), House alarm system, CCTV cameras, security lights and strengthened doors. I like the belts and braces approach, better safe than sorry.

The more advanced criminals take the front door out as their solution to relay thief being blocked. I got showed one video by someone I know of the failed break in. They got the door open, they came downstairs and they fled. Was the text book one. They sold the house and moved having been violated. Essex for you.
