can i get a new key cut at any key cutters or do i need SEAT?

If you want it to start the engine then Seat need to do the coding for it to work with the immobiliser. If you just want the key cut to open the doors am sure you can get it done anywhere

I thought anyone established with Vag-Com can recode keys?

I don't know, all i know is when i got mine done the other day Seat had to get a code sent to them which apparently changes every day

if you need info on getting it to work with your car best email me....

you need ur SKC code to get it coded to the car to open it/also need a new transponder......

you can program it easily to your car to get it working with the central locking tho!

u can make the cntral locking work without vag.com.....

if you have a spare key, ul need to take out the glass transponder out of that and put it in ur new flip key...then get the key cut and your job done!

check your manual on how to pair/match the key to your central locking
