Ive just recently bought my 20vt toledo and when i bought it there was only 1 key. How would i go about getting a replacement key without going to the dealers n having my pants pulled down n shafted? Only concerned as the drivers door lock wont operate with the key but the boot does. Its a 03 plate with the 2 button remote fob.
Any one got any advice?:D

I found a locksmith in Coventry that could cut, code and test a key for about half the price of a dealer. If you're near Coventry I can give you contact details, alternatively have a look for an automotive locksmith. With more and more keys using transponders the locksmiths are having to update their procedures from more than just cutting keys. And all of them will be cheaper than the trouser dropping prices required at a dealer...

A good locksmith should also be able to figure out why it doesn't open the drivers door, or at least get the new key to operate the door.

Thanks i will have a look about for an automotive locksmith. Think maybe the drivers door lock may have been changed or the handle n the person who did it wass lazy n never swapped the lock.

Its £97.75 for a new key cut and coded at my local Dealer. I actually donlt think that is too bad (A MK11 Laguna Key card I was quoted £180 for!!)
