Knocking noise on the front wheels

Last weekend I hit a speed bump that was disguised as a crosswalk at the begining of a climb, I clearly wasn't expecting that, seconds before I was looking to that same crosswalk and I didn't see that it was a damn speed bump. [:@] I wasn't riding too fast maybe between 25 and 30mph but the impact was big. :(

I felt so bad about it, thinking what could be damaged by that hit and today I jacked up the car and checked if there was any play in the wheels, there wasn't, but after that I tried to spin the wheels and they barely moved then I tried turning the wheel by hand back and forth I hear knocking noise that got louder as I did it faster.

Here's a video I did.

That's bad luck, easily done though. I'm assuming that there hasn't been any damage to the underside of the car in the folloing comments.

The wheel bearing, stub axle and lower wishbone mountings would take most of the impact. If you remove the brake pads and the wheel is still really hard to turn, it would suggest a damaged wheel bearing.

If it turns freely, then that would suggest a bent stub axle and that could be checked by measuring the run-out of the brake disc relative to the suspension strut. I would get both sides checked, as well as making sure that the alloy wheels haven't been damaged.

Hope that helps!
