I have a Ibiza cupra r ayp engine code

Was just wondering I've seen a few ko3s hybrid 1.8t's and I was going to ko3s but seeing as It can give me 10-30 bhp increase not sure if it's worth it as my 1.8t ko3 full stage 1 can stay next to a 1.8t ko3s :s.

Will I need to do rods, pistons etc.

Or am I being a donut saying this and I do defo need to do them lol

Thanks in advance please be nice lol

Cupra r has the same k03 turbo as any other cupra it's just the map which is different. I read you only need to change the rods but that's upto you as some say you don't have to change the rods, others have changed them for piece of mind. I personally would change them just so you know for 100% they won't break on you

I'll defo do them then as I don't want that on my mind all the time start the saving up, when I first got
Mine I thought it had a ko3s but I looked and no just a ko3 it's a seat factory map which makes it 180 instead of 156. I'll do some looking about for rods I've seen ARP pop up in a lot of threads

many k03s hybrid run with stock internals which are good for 300-330bhp and around the same ft/lbs torque , get the car mapped progressively not aggressively and if you can run it with mbc to stop spikes , which can kills rods

Nice mate as I'm happy with 210 at the mo I can save up enough to do things properly how much did it cost you for the map? I'm happy I didn't buy the forge cooler then I bought a universal one off eBay for £100 with pipes 2nd but does the job. The Jetex is sounding good btw mate love it.

Just ordered larger Intercooler as my cars getting very hot intake wise
