ko3s ibiza cupra 2001

Not sure where to post this as im new, but does anyone know where i can pick up a good condition/reconditioned ko3s turbo for my 2001 51 plate ibiza?

Just wondering if there a straight bolt on mod? and what power gains would you exspect to gain?

When mapped you should see similar figures to mine if you have the supporting mods
236bhp & 265ft lbs ish

cheers lads well ive just bought my cupra a day or two a go its had the n249 bypass, a full stainless steal exhaust system turbo back (not sure on the make) a stage 2 remap and a few other things induction kit etc

the bloke i bought it off is admin its running 220 bhp but ive no proof, il find out next weekend after a service and a timing belt change shes going on the rollers to see how right that is

there is a guy on edition got one £200 low mileage so he say's almost bought it but found one on ebay for £100

Tom 22psi wow that is nice, makes me wonder if mine has anywhere near 220 bhp because im only boosting up to 8-10 psi

STD boost is 8 psi

you should be seeing around 20 psi

so the guy i bought it off must be full of **** then, i was told it has 220bhp but he had no proof and to be honest it does not feel as fast as my old corsa redtop on yamaha r1 bike carbs which was 180bhp

its got a sticker on the back window of this site seatcupra.net so im wondering if the last owner was a member on here il get a pic up and maybe one of you guys might reconise it, or even better used to own it as im the 6th owner lol

Stick it on a set of rollers they will be able to tell you if it's mapped or not

also surely if it was 220 bhp that would mean it already has a k03s fitted no?

Some people say they have got 220 off a ko3 ? Happy roller figures I think

yeah thats my best bet il get the belts changed get her serviced and stick her on the rollers, to find out if my turbo is a ko3s will it be wrote on the turbo "ko3s" i think the ko3s was slightly bigger than the ko3 i could be wrong though?

i think the k03s is slightly bigger yeah, also if you look at the turbo from down the back of the engine and see how many vacuum pipes come off it. if two then its a ko3, if only one then a ko3s.
