Hi all, I need to remove the lambda sensor that is located in the cat on a Leon Cupra but there doesnt seem to be enough room to get a spanner or socket onto it & i dont want to have to remove the exhaust. I remember a garage once saying you can buy a special tool to do the job but cant remember what its called. Does anyone know the name of the tool or is there another way to do the job?

Cheers

loadsa room - I think it's a 19 or 21mm spanner - but I did it the other week on the floor with a good adjustable.

Just lift the car up on axle stands & it's easy to do exhaust in situ

I did mine on a LCR yesterday 10 minute job. Again it did it from underneath the car once the nut/bolt is cracked i unscrewed it by hand from above and to fit the new one just did it in reverse.
