Anyone recommend Lanoguard anti rust treatment?
I'm getting bombarded by ads for it . Got lots of good reviews but nothing long term.
Thought I might do the underbody with something in the summer.

Modern cars have galvanised steel panels, the body panels will likely outlast the interiors so don't waste your money. For the adverts - install something like Adblock Plus and supress them.

My Leon is nearly 5 & I noticed there is rust on the seams of the front subframe so that's certainly not galvanised!
I know it's a lot thicker than bodywork but rust spreads.

Yeah, I bought a 3 year old 2016 RSQ3 performance in 2019, had only covered 15,000 miles from new however the underside components - suspension arms etc were covered in scabby rust, should not have been like that.

Did you treat them with anything?

The local VAG independent wire-brushed off the bits they could reach and treated it with this stuff: Amazon: JENOLITE Rust Converter and Neutraliser Aerosol Spray | RUST TREATMENT & INHIBITOR | Fast Acting Epoxy Based Rust Remedy For Metal It looked a lot better afterwards.
