I to need to gets tints alltho will be a shame to hide the recaro baby seat in black and White :)

Yeah I'm waiting till they r 6 months then getting one of those, our kid will be more comfortable then us sitting in the standard LCR seats (maybe I will get some R32 leather, wipe clean and all:think:)

Alright gents, just to chip in,my onvi LC is going in to have the bonnet and roof done in 3M Di-noc carbon on the first of june, when its all done i will get some pics up. I went to look at the roll of it today and it looks cracking stuff, not cheap mimnd you.

Well not real carbon, that would cost bloody loads lol. Its the 3M stuff, looks cool but does not have the polished depth you get from real carbon, but for a day to day car its pretty sweet.

Well iam not really sure at the moment! Thing is iam having it done with a few other stickers and stuff as iam doing this years modball rally,we are still sorting the price as theres a little "sponsorship" involed from the guys fitting it,when i know the price i will p.m you it if you want?

How does this 3M stuff react to a peppering of stone chips? How easily can it withstand abuse? Something to consider on a daily driver.

i would like to know the outcome on that too , as mines a daily driver

my post got deleted about asking how much the roof costs ££,

i guess i should have been clearer in my post
I merely wanted to gauge a rough costing , as im no where near any of you off here , so wasnted a gauge of price , so when i decide if i want it when ringing around i will know whos too pricey

I would'nt do a roof myself, it's too much vinyl if you **** it up,
I'm getting board with the fake stuff the real thing is much better ;)

How would you do a roof without wrapping it? you can buy a kit to bond real carbon fibre to metal which would look alot better than my wrapping service but then you have more weight which defeats the object:confused: unless you cut the roof out

Right I just see a new vw sirroco (sp) in White with the bonnet wrapped in the 3m vinyl in my eyes it looked proper crap really cheap and nasty if you want a carbon bonnet pay out for one like robs you can't beat how it looks when sun shines off it , now I like the 3m stuff on small bits say interiour etc and poss the roof , ,
