Can I just double check that these are the parts needed? As I've been looking on Audisport and the Wellycooler guild is different as it does not say 45 degree bends needed

'Wellycooler' fitting
As I have been getting a lot of PM questions about these - thought it might be worth listing what is needed in a thread just about this particular cooler.

For this fitting method you will HAVE to remove fog lights, and is for engines with inlet manifold with TB on the right hand side, and charge pipe layout as per the S3.

Intercooler specs are 600 x 300 x 76mm.

Piping needed:

2 x 90 degree 76mm hard pipes with beaded ends.
2 x 90 degree 76mm silicone elbows in your choice of colour - these will need adjusting to length during fitting.
2 x 90 degree 76 - 63mm reducing silicone elbows in your choice of colour.
2 x 63mm alloy joiners.
2 x 76mm alloy joiners.
1 x 76mm 250mm length of straight silicone hose in your choice of colour. This needs to be cut into 2 lengths of 125mm to go on the end tanks of the cooler.
10 x 70 - 90mm jubilee clips
2 x 50 - 70mm jubilee clips.

Hope that clears things up...

Chrissy the cooler i have and the one in the link has 63mm inlets :) so no reducers needed. They do two coolers at 600x300x76 1 has 76mm inlets the other has 63mm inlets (like mine)
The crash bar or cross beams will need cutting to fit this monster but its 100% worth it.

Sam can you put a link with that intercooler with the 63mm inlets please, because i can only find the 76mm inlet one. thanks

They don't make the core with 63mm inlet/out let's any more. Only 76mm so you'll need to use reducers. Here is a fitting guild

Thankyou for your help, so will these be ok?

2x Blue Silicone Hose Elbow 90 Degree 63mm 4 Ply

2x 45 Degree Reducers Silicone Elbow Bend Hose - Silicone Rubber Coolant Rad Pipe

2x 63mm Diameter Alloy Bend Elbow 45° Degree Aluminium

1x Alloy hose joiner 63mm 2 1/2" Silicon Silicone hose

and jubilee clips

How's the turbo lag with the Wellycooler? Im contemplating to buy one, but I need to know :)
It's much improved over the standard set up. Infact the improved throttle response is one of the most notable improvments.

Thankyou for your help, so will these be ok?

2x Blue Silicone Hose Elbow 90 Degree 63mm 4 Ply

2x 45 Degree Reducers Silicone Elbow Bend Hose - Silicone Rubber Coolant Rad Pipe

2x 63mm Diameter Alloy Bend Elbow 45° Degree Aluminium

1x Alloy hose joiner 63mm 2 1/2" Silicon Silicone hose

and jubilee clips

You need
2 x 45deg 76/63 mm silicone reducers
2 x 90deg 63 mm alloy bends
2 x 90deg 63 mm silicone hoses
1 x 63 mm alloy joiner.
There are eBay links in the link I posted above.

Huh? One would think such a big intercooler would give a large turbo lag...
The pipe work is larger than standard as is the cores in let and out let. Honestly it's all good!
Ive been looking at the forge one for my lcr how come there is such a price differnce?
Me to as forge must make the best at that price! Google Wellycooler, or have a look on ASN. don't forget this is a home brew kit and doesn't come win instructions and all the part ready to fit. That costs money!

Worth noting that if you delete the aircon/aircon rad you dont need to cut into the crash bar.
