Leccy windows

I've had my Ibiza for 5yrs from new and in the last 4wks both of my window mechanisms have gone twang!!
Absolute nightmare when the window won't go back up?
If i had been hammering both windows then i'd understand but this isn't the case
Has anyone had the same problem or has it just been my misfortune.

bought 03 plate 2 wks ago drove into town last friday parked up went to shut windows and passenger side went twang and wouldnt go back up. was first time the passenger side had been down since i had it too. car went in on fri afternoon, new regulator didnt arrive till 3 yesterday hence me with no ibiza ALL weekend!

if the clamps that hold the window to the window regulator arent done up tight (10mm bolts) then the window can become unattached and not work

or the regulator has been under stress in some type of way (missplaced rubbers ect) and can come caught and break the regulator needs to be examined by a techie mate
