As above. I bought the LED upgrade kit BUT the damn number plate LED's keep throwing up the bulb out warning on the dash. Any one have a link for a set that works? Also ones for the DRL's. Car is a 2012 Cupra R for reference.

Thanks folks

I've got these in mine mate, 2012 LCR same as you, not had any issues.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Numbe...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item48638ef81a

These are the other bulbs I have.
Side light bulbs - W5W (501) fitment - 5W CREE LEDs

DRL bulbs - 27SMD DRL 382's

Fog lights (HB4/9006 type)

Sidelight = 501 T10 W5W WEDGE
Reg lights = 37mm festoon
vanity mirror lights = 37mm festoon x 2
middle mirror lights = 37mm festoon
middle reading lights = 501 T10 W5W WEDGE x 3
boot light = 42mm festoon
Rear centre lights = 37mm festoon x 2
Glove box = 501 T10 W5W wedge

The top link is for the LED DRL bulbs, these look really good and compliment the headlights.

The bottom link is to the extremely bright CREE LEDs for the sidelights. (Try and enter "social5" for 5% discount if it's still available)

All I get is an occasional error which goes off if I just turn my headlights on & off.

i bought a set off ebay a few months ago 18smd ones with resistors and still no error lights

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=310907959322

i specifically asked for bigger resistors. at the time i think clazzer another member bought them as well, he could give his 10p with them as well

Bought this kit. Is it right that it comes with a resistor and additional wires? Also I notice this does not screw into the bumper bracket like the original ones. So do they clip in securely?

Yes they come with the resistor wiring and they fit the same as the OE ones. They clip in and are secure, OE ones don't screw into the bumper, the screws that you have seen on yours are what fix the lense to the housing. You'll be fine with these mate, a bit of tape doesn't go amiss to hold all of the wiring together. They are literally a 10 minute swap including taping them up.

Spot on mate. That will be done on Sunday then. Looking into those fog and sidelight/running light bulbs now.

Just got these, can't get the harness to fit the cars one at all - the flimsy prongs on the eBay lights don't go in and the one I've tried have bent like boy george

I bought some similar ones that needed some modifications to fit, but now they do they work great. No errors and no flickering either.

If you've got the same as me the end that plugs into the OE light unit should plug into the new resistor and then the new light into that. Should be literally a 5 minute job.
