LED/Bulbs

hi all,

i recently changed my original grundig head unit to a nice new sony. Sorted all the wire issues out and works a treat.

Unfortuntly im a bit of a perfectionist and didnt like that the dials on speedo didnt match the blue lights on the head unit.

So off i go and buy some replacement blue led's, pull all the speedo out and eventually changed 4 of the 6 that needed changing. (last two led's were shafted) will be sorting that out.

But then my eyes get caught on the centre console, that lights up red! any chance i can change these? are they bulbs or led's?

Would it be easy to do? Anyone done it?

It's a single bulb that goes through a red plastic diffuser and then three clear diffusers to the controls. What I've done in my car is to use one from a Polo (green) but there are also kits on eBay to change them to blue so it can be done with leds.

Yup, that's the one. I've actually bought one of those kits but not got round to fitting it yet. Unfortunately it's at home so I can't tell you what's in it apart from some leds and some instructions...
