Hi Guys,

Some of you will have noticed that I'm not a fan of the 3000k stock lights. So I've been thinking, instead of getting the Xenon kit, I'll look at alternatives.

Now I've seen these LED bulbs: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LLSai-Universal-Car-LED-HeadLight/dp/B00PNIOPM8/ref=sr_1_5?s=lighting&ie=UTF8&qid=1426244839&sr=1-5&keywords=h7+headlight

I've bought LED headlights in the past and they were about as useful as strapping a candle to by bonnet. Has anyone on here used them before? They are pricey for bulbs so what do you lot think, worth it?

Cheap led lights are dim and heat up and cause the light to short out. Buy the lights from a proper manufacturer of you want a good bright long lasting bulb

I had LED's on my Polo, and they come in a kit with a fan.. They're pretty smart, not as good at dispersing light onto the road though.. Get yourself some good OSRAMS or Phillips..

I use osram nightbreakers on my mk4 and I must say on full beams they're amazing, and need no kit what so ever and are like £15 for a pack of 2

Yeah, they're brilliant, although they can be quite intermittent.. E.g the can go on you randomly, had them for a year lasted, then went through 3 bulbs within 6 months.. So buy two packs just to stay safe :p
