Fogs

I have autobulbsdirect.co.uk/HB4-9006-LED-Foglight-Bulb-NEW.html x2 1 either side of the car

Hope this helps

these are HB4-9006 lights. do they fit the sport as well? because the manual says H11 for sport, is it a different type from yours?

Dave is correct, 2 side light bulbs for one headlamp, 4 needed in total

Before you go out and buy 4, check if you headlamps are single beam or twin beam.

I think a lot of the 1.2's might only be single beam - like this pic:

In which case you would only need 2 sidelight bulps. one for each headlamp.

I have some fantastically bright white side lights but now my main lights look dull and yellow in comparison despite the fact they are sold as "Pure white light" in halfords... Does anyone know of any decent white main bulbs without going down the HID route?

One quick question regarding the LED fogs, do they work with the cornering function, as it causes the lights to fade out, and from experience LED's don't like fading, they tend just to flicker.

im using the PHILIPS BLUE VISION LED W5W T10 6000K, which might cost a lot of money but give out a bright white light and no indication of light failure.
this is added to the philips diamond vision main beam headlights.

hopefully i could get some pictures later.

I've decided to revive this thread with a question!!
First off I've already got led sidelights off amazon and they work great and look great also!!
My question is about led indicators, I've already bought 2 off t'internet along with load resistors, however, as you will know, the indicator pops out of the headlight cluster without any wires on it!
So where should I put the load resistor? Onto the indicator terminal at the headlight connector plug?

Can you send me a link to the LED sidelights you got from Amazon? I have a 2010 2.0 FR so I assume setup will be the same as yours. Have you also changed your full beam and dipped lights to LED's as well?

Just a heads up, I got these sorted. Just spliced the load resistor onto the wires in the headlight plug. One end to wire 9 (indicator supply) and the other onto one of the earth's (brown).
Love how instant they are and light up well. I wouldn't say mine are any brighter than old bulbs but definitely not worse!

Not sure if you saw my post above or whether you maybe sent me a PM? I can't access PM at the moment as I'm still a new member so can you post links/details on the thread?

Hey Will! Sorry I never even realised you'd asked me there, apologies! They exact ones I can't see on amazon at the min but they're basically the exact same as these:

Thanks, have you just changed your sidelights to white LED's or did you do the dipped and full as well?

Just sidelights and indicators in the front units at the min. Think the dipped and full beams will be either more costly, or awkward to work around but if you find a way please let me know cos I'd be well interested! :)
