Thought that might get your attention... Don't worry, I'm not going too chav. Just wanting some opinions. I spotted the other day (quite by accident) that the edge of the roof lining lifts up about half an inch, and so, in my drunken stupor, on my drive, thought 'some LED strips would look nice up there.' The idea: wedge some 4' led strips (here) in the gap and wire them into the interior light... I never recall seeing this done before and wondered if there was a reason. There you go. Abuse welcome ;)

Aye, I've done the like with blue ones in my short time, which is why I linked to white lights, IMO, they would be more subtle and look less garish. Besides that, it would provide light to the back passengers. I remember where I've seen it! Aircraft! lol

on the flooring to see where your going

would look terrible on the car! cant even think why you'd want to do it!!! who cares about the people in the back! only person you need to care about is you, THE DRIVER! :p

Mat: what were you saying about chav's taking over the site

Might work, but don't do any lasting mods incase it looks shite and you regret it. If you want more light on the inside of the car consider getting some passatt, golf, leon, rear roof lights and upgrade the bulbs.

Good idea, ta. I don't think it'll be too hard to put up or take down. As I said, the roof lining literally lifts up. If it looks good, then I've gained a unique mod. If not, well, I've wasted what, £20? Hardly a massive amount. Better than killing it on Rear lights that I KNOW won't look good :)
