Started SEAT ownership back in 2009 with a red Ibiza FR TDi (07) - spent £9k on it and promptly wrote it off 6 weeks later.. (I have some photos of the wreck if anyone wants a laugh!). Once the dust had settled, I went out and bought an Ibiza Sport TDi 100bhp, absolutely loved it.

I did some small mods, FR front bumper, LCR splitter, lowered 50mm on second hand springs (thanks Scott-o)

Then in June this year the girlfriend bought a Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 and started giving me some grief about having a 'faster car than me'... [:@]

The final straw came when my dad bought a Focus ST (60 reg, nice car!), I needed some petrol turbo goodnes in my life. After a few weeks in the classifieds I came across the ideal car for me - Mk4 Ibiza Cupra 1.8T, 57 reg, with facelift interior and only 25k on the clock. A 300 mile round trip for a test drive, deposit was paid, she was at my house by the next weekend.

The car is absolutely spotless, credit to the previous owner (think he was a member on here?...). The car already had a Stage 1 remap when I bought it, so i believe it's running around 220bhp at present.

I've done a few mods since then, nothing major but I'm open to ideas on future plans...

Mods to date...

The first thing installed was a Clifford Concept 650 MkII alarm (installed at Leeds Car Audio - top guys and did a great job on the wiring). It's an expensive alarm but has proxy, glass tamper, bonnet release sensors etc...installed for peace of mind really. Pic of the pin code panel below...

Then removed the sound deadening from under the bonnet to hear a bit more of the engine

Installed xenon lights (HID4U) with 6k bulbs - easy to fit on this one, pain in the ass on my mate's diesel (my old car)

And a cheeky sticker :p

Installed Forge 008 recirc valve

Then installed a Maxogen open cone filter...this lasted about 8 minutes on the car before being taken off again (sounded ridiculous!). Now been replaced with a pipercross panel filter and drilled airbox, sounds much better now IMO. Pic of the Maxogen filter below:

Then took it to a family friend for the windows tinting. If you're based in Leeds give Airedale Windscreens a ring (Craig) - really takes pride in his work, windscreens, tints etc he's the man.

She still thinks her car looks better...:)

More recently I took the car back to Airedale windscreens for the bottom lip of the bumper wrapping in carbon vinyl. Again a top job by Craig

I took it back again last weekend to try out some head/tail/fog light tints. It's a new product from Covex, I think it looks really good. Comments are welcome on this as I wasnt sure at first but it's definitely grown on me..

Both fronts wrapped...

You can see the difference between the back two lights (left wrapped, right standard)

This is how she stands at present. I'm half way through installing a Prosport smoked boost gauge in the centre driver side vent, should have this finished when i get time in the next few days.

I'll post updates as / when they come but there isnt really much more i want to do (would love stage 2 but can't justify the money..)

Thanks for reading!

what exhaust you got on it as mines a milltek and doesnt fit as nice lookin sweet doh

Erm not too sure about the exhaust bud, I thought it was standard! Unless the previous owner had changed it but its definitely not a full system.
