Leon 09 2.0 mpg

Hi all just wondering if anyones having issues or don't think they are getting the correct mpg for their leon. I've got an 09 leon 2.0 tdi, average around 55-60 miles but seems to go down fast and it goes empty withing a week n half. I do 60 odd miles a day plus whatever on the weekend. It may be correct but just feels like it drops to quick. If anyones got any advise would be much appreciated

Have you calculated your average mpg per tank or are you just relying on what the dash display says?

Sounds like you're getting somewhere around 400 to 500 miles from a tank then, which sounds broadly right for a 170 with mixed driving. Perhaps a little low for a 140 though.

when you fill up, how many litres are you putting in? I assume you fill up rather than add a set amount?
a week and a half with weekend driving.. so sounds like you do 450 during the week every week and a half, PLUS weekend mileage. do you go far at the weekends?
based on 500 miles overall, at 57 MPG you should find you are filling up 48 litres... does this sound correct?

Relying on what dash says mate to be honest

Work out the tank-tank average.

My CR170 will do mid 50's on the motorway and does 45mpg average on the tank.
