Leon 2016 - A/C not working/blowing hot

Hi All, would appreciate some help please, the Air Conditioning is not working on my Seat Leon 2016 1.2, in fact is blows hot air.

When I turn the A/C on, I can't see the clutch engage on the compressor, the diagnostics are attached, can someone confirm please if I need a new compressor (at £800 - £1000+ )?

I had a fault recently where my aircon would not blow cold.
Had it re-gassed and it stayed at the correct pressure. - still not cold.

I ended up replacing the high pressure switch ( it is a schraeder valve fitting so no gass lost )
Now it works perfectly.

Might be worth a try before shelling out for a compressor.

You don't have an AC compressor clutch - it uses a variable swash plate to vary the compressor volume so you won't hear a clicking in or out like you might on some cars.

When did it last have a re-gas? If not in the last few years - that will be your cheapest first step.

I took it for a re-gas but was told it was full, so looking for the next item to check/swap out.
