Try robthebubble he makes drls to fit straight on cupras with K1 kit... I got some off him and they smart

The FR and Cupra ones fit into the lower bumper centre grille. It uses some Philips DRL modules, bit of an after thought really and not the best OEM modification !

Tried to message robthebubble about his drls but can't seem to for some reason, just brought a candy white pd170 black edition btcc and am wanting to do some drls in the side scoops, has anyone figured out how to make them switch off when you turn your headlamps on?

You would need to wire in a relay. Something like THIS

Not enough posts to email me! And yes, they can either turn off or dim to 50% when headlights are on.

Full brightness with sidelight either off or on.

50% dim with headlights on.

They look excellent, they're defiantly something I need! lol

Are they easy enough for a novice to fit.

They are easy to fit...all you need is a screwdriver, scissors, wire coat hanger and a ratchet set (although not necessary but makes it a bit easier).

The hardest part is making them!

Still cant get over how good these look, are you making the kit up for people now? I would pm you but as you have said I haven't posted enough times

Yes, I can make them. New vents, cables, Dimmer control unit, full fitting guide etc. Not sure how many posts you need to make before you can PM...should be under the FAQ section?!?!?

Mate...it's doing my head in! It's not that I can't do it, its just finding the bl00dy time to do it! The Thumb (wife) is on my case about everything else and I have to spend time with the boy (2.5 year old son) and the Thumb is 5 month pregnant (I couldnt' keep little Rob locked away!) so now I need to do loads of house work like ironing and washing!!!! Rant over.

Will get it sorted soon though...as all the parts haev arrived and just need to fix bits together!

Bottom ones do angle slightly up exactly as you say....but the glass lenses distribute the light.
