Hello All,

Does anybody have any advice regarding the front mount intercooler kits available?

I can't justify the expense of a Forge Kit, I have seen some kits on ebay for around £200 but are they any good??

Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil

Would like to know this too, seems you need a MAP sensor fitting on one of the boost pipes as the standard one is mounted on the I/C,but i'd like to know if you can still keep the fog lights? if not what do you put there?

I had afriend of mine look into it briefly and he seems to think we can fit one in behind the bumper and keep the fogs, I am keen to know about the cheap intercooler kits on sites such as ebay...help!!!!

not sure how good the kits are on ebay but if you have a search on here loads of people have done custom ones for the same kind of money

A few people on here have the ebay kits and I think they all lost the fogs?

Its possible to keep them on the R due to the extra space.

i have toyosport intercooler set. You can buy it off their site for 250 pounds. Everythings included, silicone pipes, t-clamps. All very good quality i would say. And james did some logging wth that setup and it seems to work well. Its not the biggest of intercoolers but if youre not planning to upgrade turbo then it should be sufficient for k03s needs. Fitting is pretty simple. Map fitting included as well. I have fitted it on a pre facelift bumper and there is no way you can keep fog lights. James fitted it to facelift bujmper and he had to get rid of fog lights as well.

There are some photos in my build thread

seconded on the toyosports kit, pretty much direct fitment, with no cutting of pipes needed, just patience and know how on that one

I did mine on a pre facelift cupra and never had to get rid of fog lights. Some trimming of the inside of the front bumper and that was that.:D
