Hi I am after a upgraded intercooler any for sale or can any one recommend a good budget one thanks
I thought the Revo intercooler was the same size as the Racingline intercooler. I don't know about the others. All the aftermarket intercoolers needs some plastic chipping away. But I have it on good authority it’s minimal with Airtec and Revo, but Racingline and Wagnar do require a fair bit.
Core maybe, but doesn't mean the end tanks and mounting method is.I thought the Revo intercooler was the same size as the Racingline intercooler. I don't know about the others.

I only say that because I was told by pp that Racingline took there intercooler off the market and copied Revo's design then put it back on sale.Core maybe, but doesn't mean the end tanks and mounting method is.
LOL Pretty sure they won't quite of done that. My understanding from PP is that the Revo one performed better than theirs so they brought out a revised version that was better. However as these intercoolers require cutting to fit, and the Revo requires minimal cutting compared to even the new Racingline, so would suggest the end tanks are still different. Anyway we're taking over this guys wanted post so I'll shut up now.I only say that because I was told by pp that Racingline took there intercooler off the market and copied Revo's design then put it back on sale.

Apparently do88 is best on this platform, better than Wagner.Wagner is the best in this platform.
Wagner is the best in this platform.
That's good to know. Personally I'd like max performance with the least amount of cutting if not any.Apparently do88 is best on this platform, better than Wagner.
Not sure on the U.K. availability though, or if it requires same amount of cutting that the Wagner requires.
General consensus seems to be Revo & Airtec require least cutting to fit.
No idea where each of those fit in the performance hierarchy of intercoolers for these cars though.
Do88's own site say its better in comparison to Wagnar, and here shows it flows better than all others tested by themselves.:On post #12 you wrote that do88 is better than the Wagner and on post #15 you wrote that the Wagner hasn't been tested.

Nice find.Have to admit, never heard of them til today, and now looking into this cooler. Wagnar performance but AirTec money is certainly food for thought.

So its tempting...
...not that I'm personally chasing numbers. I'd be happy with an AirTec, but my friend Graham would kill me.
