Had my car mapped a fair while ago by a local company ves sport and was wondering what everyones figures were like?
53 plate lcr with a decat, milltek cat back and an air filter
It made 250 wbhp approx 290 flywheel horsepower asuming a 17 percent gain/loss through the gearbox and drivetrain and 523 n-m of torque. Was mapped on the hottest day of the year so probably a wee bit more if it was a normal day.

Just thought id post a thread and see the average as you seem to hear alot of pub talk figures of silly power for stage 2.

My 03 amk was mapped ( Revo ) to 242bhp and 300 ft lbs of torque

My stage 2 made 272 bhp at badger5. Nothing wrong with it. 60-100 just under 7 seconds and pretty much level with an e46 m3 on the road up to the top of fifth. Make of that what you will.

267bhp and 328ftlb torque. Revo stage 2 without a fmic. Got a airtec on it now so maybe a bit more.:)

mate that's nothing, I added an extra cup holder and 4 stickers and the rolling road showed 37bhp increase.

and no - no you don't have 290bhp. not from a cat back exhaust and an air filter - which does nothing but add sound.

Thats what it made and its as quick as a mk2 k1 thats got a catback milltek and a induction kit. Made 320 bhp on the rollers. Was just a query as theres alot of higher figures and also some lower figures too. Ive forged the engine now as the rods were a bit of a worry for me with the torque i was running.

not sure why i'm getting drawn into this but its highly unlikely your cars making a real 290bhp. If you choose to believe it does then obviously thats up to you.

slightly ironic though that in your first post you mention pub talk figures but wont believe your own figures are optimistic.

hardly matters though, its how it goes on the road that matters.

I'm beginning to think these expensive fmic's, 3" down pipe, tip etc was a waste of money. Maybe I should just get my car on VES Sports rollers for a "generous" reading and then, happy days

Generous reading? Its actually the lower readings of the mappers and rolling roads about here. Funny as the irony your talking about the car is now forged has a airtec fmic quaiffe lsd lightweight flywheel and competition clutch garrett turbo water meth injectors etc. So not alot of irony just a stage 2 map mate ;)

Like i stated above with the decat cat back and the filter i was just sayin is have just done all that stuff as aparently the irony of wasting money isnt worth it.
