Leon cupra wishbones? Easy?

My leon cupra failed mot on monday on front bushes, brand new parts arriving tomoro (arms, drop links, and ball joints)
Is it easy enough? Im mechanically minded fitted coilover and various things and i have downloaded the step by step from this site
Just your opinions from you who have done it cheers

I was just bone arsed lazy . Got the garage to do mine . Only charged me £35 . Don't know if that's good or bad. £35 just wasn't worth my time trying to do it .

Easy enough, 2 bolts into the subframe and one ball joints and droplink

It is easy enough to do yep, just be aware that there is less space above the balljoint than on an LCR, so you may struggle to get an allen key or torx into the head of the balljoint to stop it spinning. You might need to undo the driveshaft nut and pop it out of the hub, that will then give you loads of space on the top of the joint as the CV boot is no longer in the way.

I replaced the bushes on mine last year and yes they can be done on your drive, the only thing I didn't do was press out/in the bushes. I also had to hacksaw through the ball joint threads as they were turning and as said there isn't much room.

I bought a new set of wishbones and performed a SuperPro swap. With OEM bushes you will be fine, I had problem with on of the balljoints as the SuperPro/Powerflex bushes dotn have much play in them.

Job done! Took bout 4 hours tho and passenger side balljoint was a b!tch just spinning but managed to cut it off wiv hacksaw lol ready for mot tmoz!

A small tip for next time If the ball joint spins put a jack under it to compress it

Yh i tried the jack but was still spinning due to rust on end og bolt,
And yes i used all my original bolts but with new locking nuts provided with the kit
Got new wishbones with bushes, new droplinks and ball joints for £48.50 of ebay

Ball joints have studs on so no bolts, as for the bolts that mount to subframe you can reuse only being very would replace

Best place to get the wishbones etc from ? Ive got to change the same as you ! Looked on Ebay and it seem they range dramatically in price!
