4k i can deal with, if i wanted to sell the leon and buy a more powerful car i would have to add atleast 4k to the price of the Leon anyway! . . . and, i do love my FR! i dont want to get rid of it any time soon! i do think when i get my next car, ill just keep the FR in the garage for fun.

mine is currently running 262, so another 100 ontop would be awesome, i just know it. what are your torque figures like?

K04 converted cars usually make about 350bhp and 340lbs from what I've seen. If you haven't already, I'd seriously look at getting mods done to out the power down. WALK/SALK, SuperPro bushes, some sticky rubber will all help.

That said, unless you're DSG or in to the FR for a lot of cash, I'd honestly look at trading for a Cupra if you want to go fast. Most of your mods will swap straight over.
 
This is unrelevated answer for the issue in hand, but I really must wonder:
Does the basic FR Engine really handle all that power?? I would think something must give sooner or later.
Cupra R has tremendously stronger engine and components comparing to FR.
Do you know how many miles/kilometers have you been running with all that power?

I hav the sps switch so I can vary my power fule boost ect I'm curranly running stage 3 setting out of 4 and it runs a 311 bhp with 310foot pound of torque wen turned to stage 4 it runs at 362 bhp with 350 foot pound I was looking at stage 5 revo software wer it could run around 500 bhp but u also have to upgrade your engine internally aswel other wise I don't think it would roun verry long untill something went pop
 
Over 20k never had 1 problem with the car except a wiper motor wich I am in the proces of replacing can't get the part till morning this car has been absolutely fantastic had a top speed of 187 mph super car performance realy pisses on scoobys and evos on a long engouh road for the tyres to stop spinning

for fast i use my bikes.
but when you jump from a sports bike to a car, its abit dull.

if i sold the leon, id be lucky to get 8k(even dreaming) + the 4k it would cost to ko4 it, thats 12k. i wont find an LCR for 12k, i doubt id find one id be happy with or much less than new price, so its worth putting that money into the FR in my opinion. my FR is solid, low mileage (4k a year) and never skipped a beat. I wouldnt feel bad throwing money into it.

my current plans are first ;
Walk
Coilovers
Engine mounts
SMF + clutch upgrade
RARB

then it would be to up power.
 
I love my fr tfsi can't beat it but it my all cum to an end on the 29th of may as I have an ongoing court case wer I may lose my licence for three years so the Leon will be for sale on that day depending on the outcome if not I will probably take it all the way to stage 5 500bhp + not sure on the cost of upgrading all the engine internals think I hav all the hardware to take it to stage 4 now wich would give me 400+ but like I sed I'm in a bit of a sticky situation at the mid so the car could be globe in the next two months so its staying as it is for now
 
Only thing is doing this also means bigger brakes wich could allready do with now at the power it's running but that another 2k there

Haha I sounded like u thort I was talking rubbish so I had to shut u up there and then if u did haha any way yes it may be coming to an end hope to god it's not cos I will hav to get rid of this beast it can't just sit there for over three years

500bhp from a K04? No. That's not going happen. :blink:

You'd need to go big turbo to make that happen and a built engine.

Edit - just seen the other posts. 500bhp is very optimistic for those mods, and quite frankly I reckon it'd be a pig to drive. It would be gutless at less than 4k and would come in with such a bang you'd be spinning through tyres quicker than I can suck a polo! 425bhp is achievable however.
