Hi, Was hoping you could answer a question. I have a 2020 leon ehybrid and to cut a long story short because of a dodgy previous seat that was returned i have ended up with a £350 credit from seat uk. I thought i would see about buying a reverse camera from them and then finding a company to fit it but they have come back to me and said you can not retrofit a reverse camera on the car and they do not sell the cameras / wiring to do so????

I have'nt checked as your post came up straight away but pretty sure the 2022 and the 2020 model are the same so i am assuming that is complete rubbish what they told me.

When you say genuine reverse camera i assume also that means that you can indeed buy the cameras and wiring from seat?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Seat don't have an official kit, thus seat cannot retrofit cameras for the MK4 Leon

We can, using genuine cameras. We don't buy parts from Seat - we're a company not a retail customer

Ok, thanks your help. As I said its a shame your so far away as you would have had the job.

I'll have to work out a plan b do you sell the cameras / wiring on their own? If so is it a plug and play or are there software changes that would need to be made?

We don't sell them for DIY sorry, they're not plug and play - they also require specialist equipment for calibration after installation
