The only difference really is the badge oh and Golf has the newer PD engine, which is a bit better than the older one in the leon.

what year is the Leon? To be honest as standard i think the golf looks better, but it all depends on how long you plan to keep it aswell. 67k isn't alot for the TDi engines, but if your going to be keeping it for a god few years and do alot of mile i'd consider the leon. Golf Tdi do seem to hold their vaule really well (as you can see on the prices above, golf nearly 70k and Leon at 40k and the same price!)

I'm sure you will enjoy either car.

PS do you like green by any chance?:p

The Leon is a 2002, I also think the golf looks better, but you get 12 months warranty with the Leon and only 3 with the Golf. Im probably only going to keep it for 2 years whilst i wait for the cost of the Altea's to drop as that is what i altimately want.

That green is ok, i'm just fed up of red cars so im not that fussed.

My heart is telling me golf but my mind is saying the Leon is a better deal.

When i was getting a 1.4s i was torn between the 2. I chose the leon for the exact same reasons stated above. Practically the same car, lower milage, less common than a golf newer and a bit cheaper. I chose the leon even though i was in the market for a golf!
