Which one?

Leon - larger, more comfortable, Cupra 300, 4wd, more options

Ibiza - smaller, cheaper, less comfortable(?), Cupra 192

The obvious differences are size, price, the blistering performance of the Cupra 300 and, arguably, long-distance comfort.

I'm interested to learn, for example, whether anyone would choose an Ibiza Cupra over a Leon Cupra on price alone or would they prefer it anyway (ie me!)

It's obviously the matter of which car you like more.. The Leon is a higher level car at all means.
If you'd like to pick the ibiza I'd wait for the new generation that was just introduced

Only Cupra ST comes with 4wd.

I was given a loan Ibiza FR while my Leon went in for servicing and its first MOT. I appreciated my Leon more when I went to collect it.

Having had lots of Biza's since 1996, mostly Cupra's I only changed to the Leon for the bigger boot (two grandkids and their baggage to lug about) I was very happy with my Bizas and the Cupras had great performance for a wee motor, but the Leon is just a different class and made my Biza Cupras seem pretty cramped, slow and unrefined in comparison.

Having owned both (Ibiza was Revo stage one, ap 4 pots and coilovers) the Leon is a more comfortable car. It's faster and better handling too but the Ibiza was a blast.
