Only joined yesterday and I'm posting from my phone so bear with me!

So last Friday I became the very proud owner of a 2010 '60' plate Seat Ibiza Cupra in white.

Absolutely chuffed to bits with the car until 3 miles into ownership I had the engine management light come on and the car enter it's safety mode. I immediately got the car back to the garage and it turned out I had a misfire problem, great!

The next morning I had the spark plugs changed at a cost of £69. Thankfully I have a 3 month warranty with the car! This seemed to have fixed the problem for about 50 miles before my problem was back. The car is now booked in to be properly diagnosed tomorrow morning, hopefully.

Anyway that's all the boring stuff, where are the pictures?!

The first picture I took;

That's literally it for now! Only things I've bought so far is a cable to integrate my phone into the stereo (almost £80!) and a lot of cleaning products.

I have the car booked in to have the roof wrapped in 3M gloss black this Friday which I'm looking forward to. I'll have to have a think about what direction to go after but I'm sure you lot will inspire me!

Looks like I'm not allowed to post pictures yet, that's a shame.

I'll try and keep this updated as much as I can but for now I'm going to have a look around.

A little update!

I got bored tonight so decided to fit my old side lights and hid kit just before it got dark.

Really happy with how it turned out, the light is a lot cleaner in person but I'm only using an iPhone for the pictures.

The next plans will be to get some led fog light bulbs, number plate bulbs and interior lights.

Thanks troupy, I'm not overly worried at the moment as it's all being done under warranty.

The thing that does make me nervous though is if there's been any long term damage caused by the misfires.

I'll see how they get on in the morning though.

You got a Readers Ride for yours?

Yeah Ash Green Trade Centre, small world!

So you say it was misfiring when you test drove it?

Can you remember quite specifically when it was?

I drove it on the 16th of Feb. Sunday It was. The engine management light was on when I got there. Test drove ok until warm and then coughed and spluttered. He plugged it in to a code reader and read out the misfire fault code. Good luck and hope you get all the problems resolved

Cheers for that Tom, the car went in to the garage this morning and the codes were;

PO301 - Cylinder 1 misfire
PO303 - Cylinder 3 misfire
PO302 - Cylinder 2 misfire
PO300 - Cylinder/random misfire

Not sure why they're in that order, perhaps that's the order they happened.

The coil packs on cylinder 1, 2 and 3 were replaced and for now it seems to have sorted it.

No problem Lewis. When I saw the thread I had a little read through and couldn't not reply. I'm glad they've changed the coil packs now but really they should of done that long ago.

Thanks Chaz.

Hopefully I won't have any more problems now Tom.

My old man's not very impressed with the situation so he's going to make sure my warranty only starts from the date the car is completely fixed, whether that be today or in future.

I don't think they really have a case to argue because of the fact I've got proof the issue was there before I even test drove the car let alone bought it.

Oh well, the rest of my bulbs should be here tomorrow and my roof will be done Friday!

Bought silver indicator bulbs for the front and rear, smd number plate bulbs and all interior bulbs.
