Light switch Auto setting

Recently The 2 led's either side of the Auto led (which is lit) do not light up when driving in dull conditions. It is only when it gets noticeably duller that they light. Should they light as soon as the ingition is swiitched on?

No auto is always on at daylight. The rest only lit on when this is really on

There is a sensitivity setting in the vehicle infotainment menu which will change when the lights come on (preset level of darkness).

There is no sensitivity setting in my Cupra Leon 2023 1.5 etsi

It's in the same place as turning the external lights on during rain and courtesy indicators, something like later/earlier automatic lights.

I have changed this from medium to early. Not sure if this is the relevant setting?

That's the setting, but the headlights and hence the indicators on the lighting panel will still only light up when it starts to get dark. I've got mine on 'late' but the headlights still come on almost an hour before full dark.
